NCMVCA Student Scholarships
This year, the NCMVCA Annual Meeting Scholarship is for full-time students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at any Colleges or Universities represented in MAMCA states (PA, MD, DE, WV, VA, TN, NC, SC, GA). While promoting greater student participation at the NCMVCA annual meeting, the scholarship also encourages scholarly mosquito control and vector biology research.
Applicants must agree to provide a 15-20 minute oral presentation at the annual meeting on a relevant topic, where work has been completed. Scholarships will be awarded annually and will consist of meeting registration and a $250 cash award to help defray the costs associated with attending the conference.
The number of annual scholarship awards varies depending on available funding. The due date for applications is December 15, 2017.
Please contact Dr. Brian Byrd (email@example.com) if you have questions or check the NCMVCA website at http://ncmvca.org/conference.html.
